Apartment of Dr Henri Gagnon, Stendhal's maternal grandfather, at 20 Grande Rue, where the writer spent part of his childhood and discovered the family library. Together with his birthplace apartment, it forms one of the two sites of the Musée Stendhal, which displays manuscripts, early editions and documents there.
