A museum founded in 1850, set in the former episcopal palace of Valence, remodelled in the 18th century. Enlarged by the architect Jean-Paul Philippon and reopened in 2013, it spreads across thirty-five rooms bringing together regional archaeology, decorative arts and paintings, including an exceptional group of drawings and paintings by Hubert Robert.
