Departmental museum of the Isère, set up in the Domaine des Ombrages, an 18th-century manor house that was the family property of the Champollion brothers. Reopened in 2021 after restoration, it traces the life of Jean-François Champollion, decipherer of the hieroglyphs, and his brother Jacques-Joseph through some 1,400 objects, including Egyptian antiquities on loan from the Louvre.
