Created in 1979 by the department of Isère, this museum occupies the former novitiate of the Antonine abbey, rebuilt in the 17th and 18th centuries on medieval foundations. It traces the history of this hospitaller order and major pilgrimage site, and holds a collection bequeathed by the painter Jean Vinay.
