Set since 1968 in the former Ursuline convent, built from 1675 to 1680, turned into a prison during the Revolution and then a barracks until 1929. Its rooms present the prehistory and archaeology of the Mâcon area, a fine art gallery, and a space devoted to the poet Alphonse de Lamartine.
