Set in a château built under Louis XIII by the Rocheblave family, at the heart of a farming estate that became a public park and was acquired by the city in 1951, the museum opened in 1967. It brings together local archaeology, mineralogy, decorative arts and fine art, with works by Jean Bellegambe and Jan Brueghel the Elder.
