Founded in 1984 in the Hôtel des Fermes du Roi, built on Place de la Bourse between 1735 and 1738 to plans by Jacques Gabriel and decorated with sculpture by Jacques Verberckt. Its roughly 13,500 objects, uniforms, weapons, paintings and seized goods trace the history of the French customs service.
