An extension of the botanical garden founded in 1629, this contemporary site laid out on the right bank of the Garonne was designed by the landscape architect Catherine Mosbach and the architect Françoise-Hélène Jourda. Over six hundred metres it unfolds a field of forty-four cultivated plots, a gallery of habitats evoking eleven Aquitaine landscapes, a water garden and greenhouses.
