Housed in the former royal Benedictine Abbaye Saint-Remi, keeper of the Holy Ampulla used in royal coronations and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1991, the museum was founded in 1978. It presents regional archaeology, ten 16th-century tapestries depicting the life of Saint Remigius, and a substantial military section.
