Library within the Palazzo della Pilotta in Parma, founded in 1761 by dukes Filippo and Ferdinando di Borbone and formally inaugurated in 1769. It holds some 700,000 items, including manuscripts, incunabula, prints and drawings, among them one of the largest collections of Hebrew manuscripts held by any public library.
