Public park in Florence redesigned in the mid-nineteenth century for Count Giuseppe Archinto by the architect Giuseppe Poggi with the botanist Attilio Pucci, who laid out a romantic English-style landscape with a small lake and rose terraces. Acquired by the Italian state in 1969, the villa itself has housed the International University of Art since 1968.
