Ruins of one of the largest Roman residential villas in northern Italy, occupying the tip of the Sirmione peninsula on Lake Garda and traditionally, though without firm proof, linked to the poet Catullus, whose family had property here. The adjoining museum displays finds from the site alongside a model reconstruction of the villa.
