Picture gallery in Palazzo dei Diamanti, Ferrara, dedicated to the local school of painting that flourished at the Este court in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. Its collection includes works by Cosmè Tura, Ercole de' Roberti and Garofalo, drawn largely from churches and convents suppressed after the unification of Italy.
