House museum in the residence Giorgio Vasari bought in 1541 and decorated with frescoes between 1542 and 1568, acquired by the Italian state in 1911. Alongside some sixty paintings from Florentine gallery collections, it preserves the Vasarian Archive, including seventeen autograph letters from Michelangelo with three sonnets and drawings.
