Museum and park in Naples occupying the royal palace begun in 1738 for Charles of Bourbon to house the Farnese art collection he inherited from his mother, Elisabetta Farnese. Its galleries hold masterpieces including Titian's Danaë and Caravaggio's Flagellation of Christ, and the surrounding Real Bosco park was laid out as a royal hunting reserve.
