Renaissance palace in Oriolo Romano, built between 1579 and 1585 for Giorgio Santacroce, founder of the town, and passed to the Orsini and then, from 1671, the Altieri family, who enlarged it with the architect Carlo Fontana after Emilio Altieri's election as Pope Clement X. Its frescoed rooms include a gallery of papal portraits, and it has been open as a state museum since 2014.
