Funerary park along the ancient Via Latina in Rome, part of the Appian Way Archaeological Park, preserving a group of tombs of the 2nd century AD, notably the Tomb of the Cornelii (Sepolcro Barberini) with its frescoed and mosaic-floored hypogeum, and the Tomb of the Pancratii with polychrome stucco decoration. The site also contains the Basilica of Santo Stefano, an early Christian church built in the 5th century by Demetrias of the Anicii family, which was a pilgrimage stop until the 13th century.
