Roman bath complex on the Via Appia Antica, part of a large estate possibly belonging to the 2nd-century sophist Herodes Atticus and his wife Annia Regilla. Acquired by the Italian state in 2002, the site now also houses the archive of the journalist and conservationist Antonio Cederna, a leading campaigner for the protection of the Appian Way.
