Roman villa rustica at Boscoreale, part of the wider Pompeii Archaeological Park, buried like Pompeii itself by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 CE. Excavated from the late 1970s, it preserves a wine-making complex with buried dolia and a press, and its vineyard has been replanted with ancient vine varieties to produce wine again.
