Archaeological park at Manfredonia preserving the remains of ancient Siponto, a Roman colony from 194 BCE and later an important episcopal seat, including a 4th-century early Christian basilica with a mosaic floor, underground burial chambers and city walls. Since 2016 the ruined basilica's lost volumes have been evoked by a wire-mesh installation created by artist Edoardo Tresoldi.
