Hillside villa above Turin, part of the UNESCO-listed Residences of the Royal House of Savoy, begun around 1615 to a design by Ascanio Vitozzi for Cardinal Maurizio of Savoy and completed by Carlo and Amedeo di Castellamonte. Later remodelled by Filippo Juvarra for Queen Anna Maria of Orléans, it retains a terraced Italian garden with the Neptune fountain of the Gran Rondeau and a hillside vineyard that again produces Freisa di Chieri wine.
