Small church near the springs of the river Clitunno, built in the form of a Corinthian temple and now dated on stylistic grounds to the Lombard period, between the early 7th and 8th centuries. Dedicated to San Salvatore, it was long mistaken for an actual Roman temple, even by the 16th-century architect Palladio, and was inscribed in 2011 as part of the UNESCO serial site 'Longobards in Italy: Places of Power'.
