Château built in the late 15th century for Rigaud d'Aureille, chamberlain to Louis XI and then Charles VIII, combining defensive tradition — four round towers and wide moats — with Renaissance comfort. Its rooms preserve lively painted murals, including a caricature portrait of its builder.
