Eclectic residence built from 1894 to 1897 for Louis Mantin, a man of independent means and collector from Moulins, blending neo-Gothic and neo-Renaissance references and fitted with the most modern comforts: electricity, running water, underfloor heating. Bequeathed to the town on his death in 1905 to be preserved intact, it reopened in 2010 after seventy years of closure.
