Opened in 1976, this museum of sacred art grew from the excavations conducted from 1963 by Léon Pressouyre on the chapter cloister of Notre-Dame-en-Vaux, built around 1170 and destroyed in the 1760s. It displays 77 column-statues and capitals, major witnesses to the transition from Romanesque to Gothic.
