Remains of the Gallo-Roman town of Condatomagus, on the left bank of the Tarn near its confluence with the Dourbie. In the mid-1st century its workshops were the most important centre for the production of terra sigillata ware in the Roman Empire, and its red pottery was distributed throughout the West and far beyond.
