A historic house preserved in the town of Aquino, in Lazio, ancestral seat of the counts of Aquino, the noble family of the medieval theologian Thomas Aquinas (1225–1274), who is venerated as the town's patron saint and after whom Aquino styles itself 'the City of Saint Thomas.' The house is listed among the town's historic civil buildings, together with the surviving tower of the counts' castle, and is part of Lazio's state museum network.
