National archaeological museum inaugurated in 2011 to house finds from excavations conducted across the Sarno Valley since 1970, spanning prehistory to the Middle Ages. Housed in Palazzo Capua, the collection includes Samnite funerary assemblages, painted stone coffin burials of the 4th century BC, and bronze and silver jewellery from the 8th-7th centuries BC.
