Museum in Nola housed since 2000 in the former Santa Maria la Nova convent complex, tracing the area's history from prehistory to the medieval period. Its collection includes remains of the Copper Age hut village of Nola-Croce del Papa, Etruscan and Greek grave goods, Roman material from the Villa Augustea at Somma Vesuviana, and, at the associated site of San Paolo Belsito, further evidence of ancient settlement in the Nolan plain.
