National archaeological museum inaugurated in 2003 to display finds from the ancient city of Calatia, dating from the 8th century BC onward. It occupies the Casino di Starza Penta, a 16th-century fortified farmhouse of the Carafa della Stadera family that also hosted the Bourbon king Charles III on hunting trips, its five rooms arranged around a courtyard with a reconstructed Roman house.
