National archaeological museum inaugurated in 1988 in rooms of the San Francesco convent in Campli, dedicated to the nearby Campovalano necropolis. Its display of some 610 burials from the 9th to 3rd centuries BC includes funerary tumuli, bronze weapons, chariots, amber jewellery, ivory plaques and glass-paste ornaments.
