National archaeological museum dedicated to north-western Lucania, inaugurated in 2008 after five years of restoration of the 16th-century Palazzo del Seminario, itself repaired following the 1980 Irpinia earthquake. Its five sections, drawing on excavations begun in 1980, cover the Peuketiantes and Lucanian peoples, Romanization and Roman villas of the area.
