Civic museum in Ariano Irpino's Palazzo Forte, combining rare 16th-17th century printed books from suppressed convents and a civic photographic archive with a ceramics collection spanning the 12th to 21st centuries, particularly the town's own production of the 17th-18th centuries, whose local ceramic tradition is documented from the early 14th century onward. A separate didactic wing in Palazzo San Giacomo occupies the historic kiln district of Tranesi.
