Archaeological park at Montenerodomo on a plateau in the Maiella mountains, site of Iuvanum, chief town of the Samnite Carricini people from at least the 4th-3rd century BC and reorganised as a Roman municipium in the mid-1st century BC. The site preserves a Samnite sanctuary with twin temples and a small theatre, alongside the Roman forum and baths, with finds displayed in a museum opened in 2006.
